Ryan Johnson is a producer and director based in New York.
Whether he’s directing a Nike spot about a kid building his own basketball hoop or developing a branded documentary series from scratch, Ryan’s focus is always the same: how do you feel when it ends?
He earned his stripes at NYU’s Graduate Film Program, where he learned to move between documentary and commercial work with ease.
Since then, he’s directed award-winning work for Nike and Jordan Brand (including a Young Director Award at Cannes Lions and a shots Awards nomination) and collaborated with clients across sports, tech, and the nonprofit world, including American Express, the NFL, Freethink, and GT School.
